Welcome to our life. We are three - myself (Danielle), my husband (Kevin) and our daughter (Isabel...or if you ask her, Princess.)
The purpose of this blog is to do many things - it's a daily recording of our lives as well as guiding the masses (or the 2 people who follow this blog!:) in the adventure of money saving, couponing, and cooking! Enjoy!
Kevin and I are coming up on our 5th wedding anniversary, and Isabel is 26 months. Our anniversary this year holds some bittersweet news. Kevin was recently laid off from Urethane Soy Systems Company here in Volga, SD. As awful news as that was, it was expected, so Kevin had been applying quite often at other companies. He has accepted a position with Novartis Pharmaceuticals in Lincoln, NE. He will start there shortly, and this means that we have placed our home on the market, and leased an apartment in Lincoln. We take possession of our new apartment on....August 12th. Happy anniversary - moving my husband a few states over.
I will remain here in Volga until our home sells, so I've started a blog. Trite, I know, but it will give me something to focus on with my family being split between NE and SD.
**Update, our home has not yet sold, but Iz and I have made it to NE. And we love it here!
